Roberts Bakery Re-Branding Strategy
Learn how the T-Shirt Bakery supported Robert’s Bakery with their one-million-pound re-branding strategy.
The household brand name, Robert’s bakery, a family run business since 1887, approached the T-Shirt Bakery to print their new uniforms as part of their new re-branding strategy.
Robert’s new brand strategy is to "challenge customers to think differently about the bread that they eat and their Bakery", and urge them to "take a stab at something from a new modern lifestyle brand". Their modern new re-brand is supported by a tagline of “Embrace the New”, to reflect 13 new flavours they are adding to their traditional bread range.
Stuart Spencer-Calnan, the managing director of Roberts Bakery, stated: “Our mission is to put some fun, interest, and value back into the category, and to help shoppers re-engage and embrace the new with us. This will not only drive growth for Roberts but will benefit the category as a whole.”
After spending close to a million pounds on the re-branding, Robert’s bakery wanted only the best printing company to source and print their new uniforms, so they approached the T-Shirt Bakery. With our years of both design and printing experience, we advised Roberts on the best garments to use and how-to layout the design for maximum impact.
Using our top of the range digital DTG (Direct to Garment) printers, we were able to print the fine detailing needed to bring their re-branded uniforms to life.
Another major advantage of using digital DTG method of printing is at the ink is embedded directly into the fabric, leaving a smooth and long-lasting print which won’t fade or peel like conventional silk screen printing techniques.
